Fresh violence has erupted at Okogbe community in Ahoada-West Local Government Area of Rivers State, forcing residents to flee for safety.
According to Dailypost, the said trouble started following the murder of a man on Sunday night, identified as Ngozi Obenne by yet-to-identified gunmen at about 4am.

A source said the killing of Obenne was greeted with a reprisal attack by gunmen who went about Okogbe community shooting at everybody within sight.
No official figure has been established on the number of people killed, but unconfirmed report pegged it at 9.
The Rivers State Police Command is yet to react to the development.
