Andrey Karlov, Russian ambassador to Turkey has been shot in Ankara, according to Turkish media.
NTV reports that the ambassador was seriously wounded in a gun attack in the Turkish capital on Monday and was taken to hospital.
Three other people were also injured in the attack on the ambassador. Hurriyet newspaper, citing their own reporter, says that the perpetrator also fired warning shots in the air before targeting Karlov.
