The Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday inaugurated a new committee of Chief Compliance Officers in other to prevent money laundering and other forms of financial crimes in the capital market.
The Director-General, SEC, Ms. Arunma Otteh inaugurated the committee and stressed that the capital market should be known for both integrity and high standard
The Executive Commissioner, SEC, Mrs. Sa’adatu Bello said that the commission has established an AML/CFT unit within the commission and emphasized that a collective action for the battle against financial crimes must be taken in other to be successful.
