Shehu Sani representing Kaduna Senatorial district at the National Assembly has said that Nigeria has a republic as come to stay and no region or ethnic group has the tright eject other ethnic group.

Senator Sani was reacting to call by a coalition of Northern Youth Groups ordering all Igbos to leave northern Nigerian within three months.

Recall that the group in a statement made by its spokesperson, Abdulaziz Suleiman in Kaduna said “With the effective date from Tuesday, June 6, 2017, all Igbos currently residing in any part of Northern Nigeria are hereby served notice to relocate within three months and all northerners residing in the East are advised likewise”..

He said: “The North hereby openly calls on the authorities and other national and international stakeholders to acknowledge this declaration by taking steps to facilitate the final dissolution of this hopeless union that has never been convenient to any of the parties”.

But Kaduna born Senator on Wednesday said no region or any ethnic group has the right to eject or instigate an ejection of other ethnic group.

He said: “This (Nigeria)is a republic that has come to stay. In the past it overcame secession,ethnic and religious violence and shall always outlive those promoting it.”
