Coach of the U-23 team, Samson Siasia has lamented that they are already behind schedule in preparations for their qualifying matches.
Siasia explained that the foreign based players just recently joined them in camp and that they are lagging behind in all the plans they had drawn up.
The under 23 coach explained that he had to call off a friendly game in order to afford him the opportunity to access the foreign players he has called up.
"We’re a little behind schedule, the foreign pros just came in. We’ve cancelled a game in bauchi, but we’ll make the best of that situation and spend time working with them and continue to play the local teams.”
"Its the off-season, so we’re looking to get some very good games with League clubs,” Siasia told footballlive.ng
