Sports Sudan vs Nigeria: Gbolahan Salami urge Nigerians to support the Super Eagles to succeed

Super Eagles' striker Gbolahan Salami has solicited for support from fans as Nigeria prepare to play against Sudan in Saturday's 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifiers in Khartoum.

Nigeria will tomorrow play the first leg of the qualifiers away in Khartoum before hosting the Sudanese next week.

Salami pleaded for people to have belief that the Super Eagles can turn around their position on the table and qualify for the 2015 Nations Cup.

"I'm pleading with all football-loving Nigerians and our wonderful supporters to give us their supports and prayers," Salami told Goal.

"They should believe in our can do spirit and we won't disappoint them because the three points is our target in Sudan.

"We are very focused and determined to win and I’m positive we will be in Morocco to defend our title next year. Once more, as a team we appeal for the backing of Nigerians," he concluded.
