Sports Super Eagles update: Nine homebased Eagles already in camp for Congo

Nigeria's camp have opened in Abuja for the 2015 African Nations Cup qualifiers against Congo.

The Super Eagles will this weekend play against Congo for the all important clash, with the team needing to win their two remaining qualifiers to make the 2015 Nations Cup.

Homebased players were the first to hit camp, leaving Uyo after last week's friendly game against the Black Meteors of Ghana.

Nine homebased players made the trip to Abuja, training at their base where the foreign contingent are expected to join them.

The players homebased players in camp: Chigozie Agbim, Azubuike Egwuekwe, Solomon Kwambe, Emem Eduok,Tony Edjomari, Christian Osaguona Ighodalo, Gbolahan Salami and Kingsley Sokari.

On Sunday Keshi noted that there is need for urgency as they prepare for the final phase of the camping which is expected to start today (Monday).

“We have no time for this game and the players know, so all of them must be here early enough for the trip to Congo,” he said.
