Sports Transfer Updates: Chelsea agrees deal for Juan Cuadrado, Man Utd set to sign Dani Alves

Chelsea football club have reached an agreement with Fiorentina to sign one of the 2014 FIFA world cup shinning stars, Juan Cuadrado for a deal worth £23 million for the Colombian.

The Blues which announced that they won't be trading any player during the January transfer window are currently atop of the Barclays Premier League table and are still looking forward to consolidating the team to ensure they win more than one silverware this season.

But, for them to buy the 26 year old Colombian, they must allow Egyptian Mohamed Salah go to raise funds for their new target.

Meanwhile, another EPL club, Manchester United have said that they are confident of landing Barcelona left-full back, Dani Alves on a free transfer this summer.

Louis van Gaal who desperately needs to fortify his defence line will be hoping the former Barcelona goalkeeper, Victor Valdes will help persuade his former team-mate to move to Old Trafford.

Everton have finally agreed to allow striker Samuel Eto'o to join Italian side Sampdoria. There will be no transfer fee, but instead the Toffees will receive performance-related bonuses during the Cameroon star's two-and-a-half year stay.
