During the 7th Bola Ahmed Tinubu Colloquium, Babatunde Fashola, the then Governor of Lagos state described those handling the Nigeria's power sectors as incomptent people.

Fashola said: "We have darkness because our Economy is managed by ‪incompetent‬ and amateur people”.

Today, Babatunde Fashola is the Minister of Power.
