Sports Former Ghana coach set to be hired by a Sudanese club

According to a report on Supersports.com, former Black Stars of Ghana coach, Kwesi Appiah is on the verge of signing a contract with a Sudanese club, Al Khartoum Sporting.

Appiah in September left his post as the national team coach after falling out of favour with the Ghana Football Association(GFA)

He coached Ghana to the 2014 FIFA World Cup, where an ill-fated campaign saw them crash out in the group stages of the competition.

Appiah is understood to have signed a pre-contract agreement with Al Khartoum, and will soon join them on a permanent basis.

He is expected to be earning in the region of $39,000 a month managing Al Khartoum.
