British-Nigerian professional boxer Anthony Joshua, aged 34, has revealed why he still resides with his mother. Despite his £15 million win against Wladimir Klitschko in 2017, Joshua returned to his mother's two-bedroom former council apartment, emphasizing the importance of family ties in his culture.

During an interview with Louis Theroux, Joshua elaborated on his choice to reside with his family, underscoring the robust familial connections within his household. He conveyed the difficulty a potential partner would face in persuading him to relocate. "I continue to share a home with my mother. In our culture, we are raised in our family homes, where we provide support to our parents. Why should I consider vacating and leaving my mother alone, solely for a romantic relationship? Family holds paramount importance. When a woman enters into a relationship with me, she isn't just uniting with me but also with my entire family."
