mourning-3064504_1280.jpgHaneen, the bride whose wedding turned into a nightmare when a fire broke out, has been left unable to speak due to overwhelming grief. Haneen and her new husband, Ravan, were enjoying their slow dance at the wedding venue in Qaracosh, near Mosul, Iraq, when the blaze erupted.

The fire is suspected to have started from indoor fireworks and quickly engulfed the entire hall. Survivors struggled to escape the suffocating smoke and flames, leaving more than 100 guests dead. Among the casualties were 18-year-old Haneen's mother and brother.

Ravan, during an interview with Sky News, revealed the horrifying moments when the ceiling caught fire. He described the ceiling, made of nylon, melting in seconds, creating an inferno.

As a power cut occurred just before their first dance, Ravan noticed flames as the lights returned. He had to rescue Haneen, dragging her to safety as her wedding dress prevented her escape.

Both bride and groom expressed their overwhelming grief and devastation. Ravan stated, "Inside we are dead. We are numb. We are dead inside." They have decided to leave the place where their happiness was shattered, as every attempt to find happiness ends tragically.

This devastating incident has left a community in mourning and serves as a heartbreaking reminder of the fragility of life. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation, but the emotional scars it has left on the couple and survivors are undeniable
