The Nigerian Army has officially launched the 2023 recruitment exercise for the 86 Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) for Non-Tradesmen and Women. The Army Headquarters made this announcement via its verified social media handle.

The recruitment process begins with online registration, which started on September 25 and is scheduled to conclude on October 20, 2023. The Army emphasized that the application is free and urged applicants to be cautious of fraudsters.

Shortlisted candidates will proceed to participate in the State Recruitment Screening Exercise, which is scheduled to take place from November 6 to November 19, 2023.

To apply, interested individuals should follow these steps:
  1. Visit the recruitment portal at https://recruitment.army.mil.ng.
  2. Log in using the provided username and password.
  3. Complete the application form online and submit it.
  4. Print a copy of the application form.
  5. Fill out the Guarantor Form as needed.
  6. Present copies of the Application Form and Guarantor Form at the designated state recruitment centers.
Applicants must meet certain eligibility criteria, including being single Nigerian citizens by birth and possessing a National Identity Card/NIN or BVN. They should also be medically, physically, and psychologically fit as per Nigerian Army Standards and have no criminal convictions. Additionally, applicants must meet height requirements, age restrictions, and educational qualifications.
Registered Nurses and Midwives not exceeding 30 years old may also apply. The minimum educational requirement is at least four passes in not more than two sittings in WASCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. Tradesmen/women must also have a Trade Test/City Guild Certificate.
