Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, former governor of Anambra State, has passed away at the age of 85 at the Federal Medical Centre, Abuja, according to a statement from Chief Rob Ezeife on behalf of the family.
Serving as Anambra State governor from January 1992 to November 1993, Ezeife was a distinguished figure who also held positions such as Federal Permanent Secretary, Political Adviser to the President, and Presidential aspirant.
The statement conveyed the family's announcement of Ezeife's transition, stating, "On behalf of the Ezeife Dynasty of Igbo-Ukwu, I wish to announce the promotion to glory of our most distinguished son, 'Okwadike,' Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, CON."
