Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, extended his condolences and support to the family of the late Nollywood makeup artist, Abigael Frederick, who tragically lost her life in a recent boat accident.

Alongside four other film practitioners, including Junior Pope, Frederick met her untimely demise when their boat capsized in the River Niger. Governor Eno personally visited the family in Ikot Udoma, Eket Local Government Area, expressing his heartfelt condolences and consoling the grieving relatives.

He praised Frederick's entrepreneurial spirit and pledged assistance to her surviving siblings, including an automatic civil service job for her elder sister and support for her two younger sisters' education at the University of Uyo.

Additionally, Eno directed the renovation of the family house, demonstrating the government's commitment to easing the burden of the bereaved family members. This gesture of compassion comes as a source of solace amidst the community's mourning for the lives lost in the tragic accident.
