In a bid to tackle the challenges posed by the increasing cost of living and recent protests, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative.

The state government plans to engage local food vendors, colloquially known as 'Mama Put,' to feed between 1,000 to 1,500 residents daily in each local government area.

The governor highlighted that the program aims to alleviate the burden of rising living expenses and foster community support. Additionally, Sanwo-Olu announced a 25% reduction in public transportation costs across the state, addressing another pressing concern for citizens.

This comprehensive approach reflects the government's commitment to providing immediate relief to its residents.
