Morekeji "Keji" Olamilekan's alleged assault on his ex-wife, Mary Ololuwa, has left her hospitalized. Witnesses, appalled by the brutality, intervened and handed Keji over to the police. Confirming the arrest, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the command, revealed that a case of domestic violence was reported to the Owode Onirin Police Division.
The victim, bleeding from injuries inflicted by Keji, recounted the harrowing experience to the police. Mary explained that, while heading to her shop, Keji, inquiring about their children, became agitated and struck her on the head with a large stone in a fit of rage.
Keji is now in custody, and the stones used as evidence have been recovered. The case is set to be transferred to the Gender Unit for further investigation, shedding light on the complexities of domestic violence and its repercussions
