Nollywood mourns the loss of Yoruba veteran actor Ganiyu Oyeyemi, popularly known as Ogunjimi, who passed away. The sad news was conveyed by fellow actor Kunle Afod in an Instagram post on April 26th, 2023. Afod's message expressed sorrow over the actor's death, stating, "We tried our best, but God loves you more. May his soul rest in peace. Baba Ogunjinmi, RIP, Sun re oooo." Ogunjimi's demise has saddened many in the Nollywood community, marking another loss in the industry.
