The Police Service Commission (PSC) has scheduled the medical screening of shortlisted candidates for recruitment into the Police Constable cadre for April 16, 2024. Ikechukwu Ani, the spokesperson for the PSC, announced this on Monday.

The decision to set the date for April 16 was made to accommodate the conclusion of the ongoing Muslim Ramadan fast and the Christian Lenten period, along with their respective religious obligations.

The screening process is slated to last two weeks, marking the culmination of the recruitment exercise. Additionally, specialist applicants who completed the physical and credentials screenings but did not participate in the JAMB-conducted computer-based tests will undergo practical tests and medical screening during this period.

The statement emphasized that the screening will take place across the 17 zonal command headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force, as well as in Kaduna, Yobe, and Zamfara States.

These states were given special consideration due to the security challenges they face. Candidates from these states will undergo screening and practical tests in their respective locations.
