Nigeria's Dream Team VI on Wednesday were defeated by Colombia in the last group game of the Rio 2016 men's football competition.
Teofilo Gutierrez scored early in the first half while Dorlan Pabon made it two in the 62nd minute. With the victory, Colombia qualified for the quarterfinals of the competition finishing second with 5 points behind Nigeria.
Nigeria sealed their qualification for the quarterfinals after beating Asian champions Japan 5-4 on Thursday and edging Sweden 1-0 in Manaus on Sunday.
Nigeria will meet Denmark on the 13th of August for the next elimination round while Colombia will face Brazil.
