Nigeria's Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, on Wednesday said the Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Mounir Gwarzo, has been suspended over allegations of financial impropriety leveled against him.
SEC's Head of the Media Division, Mr. Abdulsalam Naif; and the Head of Legal Department, Mrs. Anastasia Braimoh were also suspended due to the same issue.
She has also set up an Administrative Panel of Inquiry to investigate and determine the culpability of the director-general.
