Sports Afrobasket: D’Tigers rumps to victory over Cameroon

Ike Diogu was the star of the show, once again registering a double double, amassing a game high 25 points,15 rebounds and even had two blocks in the course of the game.
Cameroon went into half-time with a slender 40-39 lead but D’tigers came back rejuvenated and fought for the win.
At some point in the game, the Nigeria team was down by as much as ten points and had to make their way steadily to the summit.
Top performers for Cameroon were Christian Bayang who had 20 points and Luc Mbah a Moute who added 18 points, but it was not enough to secure them a win.
Having topped their group,D’Tigers will next play against Central African Republic on Tuesday,in the knock stages of the competition.
