President of the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) Amaju Pinnick has expressed satisfaction at the newly completed 30,000 Akwa Ibom stadium which was commissioned today.
Pinnick who succeeded Aminu Maigari as the NFF president said that this edifice has become the home of the Super Eagles, and promised that his administration will work to bring grade A games to the stadium for Nigerians to watch.
"I think its a private asset to Africa and Nigeria, we are very proud of this facility and we will make the best use of it.
"we will bring grade A's games to this stadium, not forgetting other stadia that have hosted us before now.
This federation plans to bring the best football to Nigeria, so we can showcase the talents of young Nigerians to the whole world."
Yea, My vision is short, medium and long term, we are not just concerned about winning, but have a strong rich football culture.
"we are sending coaches and referees to international coaching and referee courses to bring richness to the Nigerian football".
"We are talking to invincible Nigerians who are playing in the Premier League to feature for Nigeria because they are the next generations of this country".
