The original charges against the suspects implicated in the killing of the four University of Port Harcourt students in Aluu, Rivers State have been withdrawn and replaced with fresh ones.
A High Court, presided over by Justice L.L. Nyordee in PH granted the plaintiffs leave to switch the charges following a request by the Prosecution to add one more suspect to the 11 suspects already on trial. All 12 suspects pleaded not guilty.
The charges read against the suspects are murder and negligence/refusal to prevent a felony.
