Nigeria's former vice President Atiku Abubakar has returned to Adamawa state following his resignation from the All Progressives Congress, APC.
He arrived the Yola International Airport and was welcomed by a mammoth crowd of PDP supporters led by the state and local government executives. He later went to pay condolence to the family of one of his close friends, late Adamu Yaro before retiring to his residence.
Although he has not disclosed the party he would pursue his thinly-veiled presidential ambition, he is believed to be considering the PDP, his former party.
