Bishop David Oyedepo, Founder of the Living Faith Church popularly known as Winners Chapel has stated that believers must pay tithe to enjoy God's blessing.

In a video posted online, Bishop Oyedepo said, “Everybody believes that God has an open heaven full of blessings for his people but it takes your tithe to open the file for you. So if you only know the promise and you don’t know the conditions, you will die frustrated. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of sin, poverty, death but what does it take to get there, it takes faith in the demand. People just believe the problem but not the demands.

''It is believing in the demand that entitles you to the fulfilment of the promise. There is no provision in the scriptures without conditions attached. Even as free as salvation is, you need to repent before you can be saved. There is nothing provided for without conditions to make.”

On this, someone wrote:

"How about Atheist billionaire Mark Zuckerberg and Non- Believing billionaires such as Bill Gates (Microsoft), Steve Jobs (Apple), Warren Buffet, George Soros, Larry Page, Sergey Brin (Google), Lee Shau Kee, Li Ka-shing, Larry Ellison (oracle) who do not pay tithe? Why are they rich? How many Christians who pay tithes are rich?
There are questions that intelligent people will ask Oyedepo."

The pastor should have specified what type of blessings..

Money... Dangote doesn't pay tithes.

Long life... I know of people advanced in age that don't pay tithes

Children... Babalawos don't pay tithe and they have children. They even give children :D

Salvation... I am saved. It was by grace through faith, not tithing.

Ephesians 1:3-7 says

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us

I can't find where tithing was a condition there
