The Buhari Volunteers Network (BVN) has come out to counter the Nigerian presidency's accusation that the Presidential candidate of the APC signed an agreement with four Western nations to revert the same-sex laws in Nigeria.
Earlier, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, the media director of the president's campaign organization had alleged that Buhari was going to grant permission for gay marriages if elected.
The national coordinator of the network, Comrade Olayemi Success said"there is no relationship between General Buhari and any western nation concerning gay marriage and such pervasive orientations that are not in conformity with our cultures and values.”
“It is laughable and unreasonable for anybody to think that a man of General Buhari’s standing will at this age and stage descend to a level of upturning Acts of Parliament single-handedly in a democracy.”
