D’Tigers in Orlando for final camping before Afrobasket

Nigeria’s D’Tigers have gone into their final phase of camping,to fine-tune preparations for the forthcoming African Basketball championship.
They will be camping in Orlando,United States of America,where they are expected to depart for Abidjan for the tournament.
D’Tigers have been seeded as one of the top teams for the competition behind the host country,Ivory Coast and also African powerhouses Angola.
Coach Ayo Bakare and his technical crew held a screening exercise,in both Abuja and America,where they arrived on the list of players that they would take into camp.
Also the Stankovic tourney in China,where D’Tigers finished third,was equally used as a measure to select the players that were called into camp.
Two homebased players: Stanley Gumut and Abdul Yahaya made the list of players going into camp.
Some of the foreign players expected to be camp are: Aminu brothers, Alade and Al Farouk, Ike Diogu, Derrick Obasohan,Chamberlain Oguchi, Olumide Oyedeji, Mike Umeh as well as new-comers Andy Ogide and Stan Okoye.
