Politics Dame Patience Jonathan Arrives Port Harcourt


Nigeria’s first lady, Dame Patience Jonathan arrived Port Harcourt Sunday afternoon for a three-day visit.

DSP Angela Agabe, Police Public Relations Officer Rivers state, confirmed the first lady’s visit and said she was immediately flown from the airport to Okrika, her home, adding that she was in her home town over issues relating to the death of her mother, late Madam Charity Oba.

Heavy Police presence was seen on some major roads in Port Harcourt, although the roads were left open for road users.
