Seven suspects have been arrested over the attempt on the life of Senator Dino Melaye, Sahara Reporters say.
A police source said a black Jeep suspected to have been used during the operation has been found.
A cache of ammunition at the Odokoro home of the administrator of Ijumu local government area of the state, Taofiq Isa, was also discovered by the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
The source said the suspects were arrested at different locations of the state. The black jeep and the ammunition have been impounded by the police as well, the source added.
