Sports EPL: Arsenal blown away by Tottenham's Harry Kane

Tottenham for once raised up their heads above Arsenal to beat their neighbours 2-1 in their North London derby on Saturday.

It was a virtuoso performance by Spurs who dominated Arsenal in the match and duly deserved their victory on the day.

Particularly impressive was the five-star input by Harry Kane who tore Arsenal's defence with his sheer abilities nicking the goals that made all the difference.

Arsenal took the lead in the first half through Mesut Ozil, but in all fairness, they were lucky to have been in front with that goal.

Actually it was their first shot on goal, as Spurs pegged them back in their own half, pressing and probing for a goal.

And Spurs did get their reward when in the second half Kane kept his composure in front of goal to equalise.

The young Tottenham striker has grown in leaps and bound this season, being his team's arrowhead in attack this season.

With the game wearing out, Arsenal got a rare opportunity to take the lead, Olivier Giroud failed to nail the target despite being in a good position to score.

Kane then taught him exactly how to find the onion bag, meeting a cross from the left and with a looping header scored past Ospina in goal for Arsenal.

It was a good win for Mauricio Pochettino's team who were miles apart Arsene Wenger's team in the match.

Spurs would be delighted with the outcome of the match as it shot them past their neighbours on the English Premier League table.

The win is the 50th time Tottenham have won the North London derby in the Premier League.
