Sports Essien,Gyan,Boateng and Ayew all named in Ghana's World Cup squad

Twenty six players have been named in #Ghana's provisional list for the 2014 FIFA #WorldCup tournament in #Brazil.

There were no surprises in the squad announced by coach Kwesi #Appiah,with the old guards: Michael #Essien,Sulley Ali Muntari and Asamoah #Gyan all making the list.

Schalke 04 midfielder Kevin Prince #Boateng as expected was included in the team,initially retiring after his first international appearance at the last World Cup in South Africa,and reappearing now that there is another World Cup tournament.

David #Accam is the surprise inclusion in the team,formerly a non-league player in England before having his first season at Helsingborg, Sweden.

Ghana will play two world cup friendly matches against Netherlands on May 30 and South Korea on June 9 in Miami,USA.

Defenders: Samuel Inkoom, Daniel Opare, Harrison Afful, Jeffery Schlupp, Jonathan Mensah, Rashid Sumaila, Jerry Akaminko, John Boye
