The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has set October 1 as the new deadline for the installation of Speed Limit Device for all commercial drivers in the country.
Speaking at a meeting in Abuja, the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr Boboye Oyeyemi, who explained that motorists who fail to comply with the new policy will have their cars impounded.
He said the initiative will help reduce the rate of car crashes in the country.
The Federal Government of Nigeria had earlier fixed April 2016 as the deadline for commercial vehicle owners to install speed limit devices
