- Genevieve Nnaji is a Nollywood actress, a producer, an entrepreneur and a single mother.
- The ace Nollywood actress was born in Mbaise, Imo State, South-East Nigeria but grew up in Lagos.
- She is the fourth of eight children, she was brought up in a middle-class environment. Her father worked as an engineer and her mother worked as a teacher.
- The star actress kicked off her career in Nollywood at the age of eight, when she starred in the TV series 'Ripples'.

- Genevieve has a daughter named Chimebuka but sources say all her close friends refer to her as Theo. Genevieve Nnaji got pregnant in her teenage days and fortunately, she kept the baby.
- Genevieve Nnaji was honoured as a member of the order of the Federal Republic in recognition of her contribution to Nollywood Industry.
