German tech firm Bosch group has stated that it intends to set up its African manufacturing factory in Nigeria.
Bosch is a technology and tools manufacturer. It is also one of the world's largest supplier of auto parts.
"Africa holds a great potential for our business with Nigeria leading the pack as the biggest economy on the continent. With more than 170 million people and an emerging middle class, doing business with Nigeria is a step in the right direction for us at Bosch Group,” Regional Sales Director, Benjamin Ofori, said.
The firm stated that Research and Development for the proposed Nigerian manufacturing firm was on-going.
Bosch Group also restated determination to establish its four segments of Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, Energy and Building Technology in Nigeria, with local offices already established in Algeria, Angola, Egypt, Kenya, Ghana, Morocco, Mozambique and Tunisia.
