Politics Governor Ayade Locks Out SSG, Aides For Coming Late, Monitors Gate On CCTV

Cross River State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade, on Wednesday locked out top political appointees and civil servants at the Government House, Calabar, for resuming late, monitored movement at the gate on CCTV device from his office.

According to PUNCH, Governor Ayade resumed 7.30am and ordered that the gate be locked after his his deputy, Prof. Ivara Esu, came in at about 8am.

The Secretary to the State Government, Tina Agbor, and other civil servants who were said to have been locked out for coming late.

Civil servants, security aides and other appointees were kept out by security operatives in the governor’s convoy.

The gates were, however, opened by 9am with some members of staff were allowed to go in while those who came after then were turned back.
