The account of Nigerian militant group, the Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, was recently suspended by Twitter.
NDA's account was suspended after it claimed that it attacked five oil installations in the country in three days.
Although Twitter hardly comments on individual accounts for privacy and security reasons, a spokesman for the site, according to Vanguard, said NDA's account was suspended in line with the company’s policy, which detailed specific rule pertaining to violent threats.
The rule says that “you may not make threats of violence or promote violence, including threatening or promoting terrorism.”
