The released of classified information by Bradley Manning, a U.S soldier to Wikileaks, helped the Islamic terrorist group Al-Qaeda in her recruiting efforts. This was revealed on Thursday by an expert on radical Islam, Aboul-Enein.

Al-Qaeda used some of the videos provided in the leaks to whip up sentiments within the Islamic world, and as a result was able to recruit more people into the organization; some of the videos they used include the killings of civilians by U.S soldiers in Baghdad.

If found guilty, Manning could be sentenced to 90 years in jail for the crime.
