Metro IG Idris Appoints Two Firms to Audit Nigeria Police Investment Bodies

Two firms have been appointed by the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to audit the Nigeria police investments and subsidiaries.

The exercise is expected to be completed in six weeks and would be conducted by Messers Nsebot William & Co and Gbenga Abimbola & Co, Don Awunah, police spokesperson said.

He said exercise is aimed at ascertaining the true financial position, assets and liabilities of the subsidiaries, amongst others.

The investment bodies and subsidiaries to be audited are – Nigeria Police Force Pensions, NPF Mortgage Bank, NPF Corporative Limited, NPF HMO, NPF Insurance, and NPF Property Development Company.
