Tension is brewing up in Abia governorship election over alleged bribery to hijack the the Supreme Court judgment slated for May 12th, 2017 by the State government.

Nzeribe Ikechukwu, public commentator, in a statement made available to Nigerian Bulletin exposed some secret but dangerous moves by Abia State Government to acquire the Supreme Court judgment.

The Apex court will on Friday, hear case in the ongoing Tax Falsification Case between a PDP Governorship Candidate Dr. Uche Ogah and the Abia State governor Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu.

Ikechukwu, while in his lengthy note revealed how an insider in the camp of the government alleged that the plot involves directly on one angle; a high ranking Supreme Court Judge, and on the other angle; a South East governor with Presidential ambition and the same ranking Supreme Court Judge, and the plot which is ultimately centered on Money and Marital Relationship Sentiments is using the said South East governor as a backup to have two High Ranking APC personalities in the government endorse the plot, with huge sums of Money and pledge of Decamp to the APC as conditions given to the governor, the influential APC men are not aware of the secret plots and 2019 Presidential ambition of the said governor who is facing serious heat in his state because of his greedy political manipulations ahead of 2019.

“The source also disclosed that the plot was actually the reason why the garrulous South East governor who is said to be in the Personal black book of the President because of his mind blowing corrupt enrichment and 2019 secret political maneuvering, claimed a few months ago that some South East governors would soon move to the APC”.

Recall that after the PDP primaries in 2014 in Abia State which the then Governor, Theodore Orji was alleged to have manipulated to favour Ikpeazu, Dr. Uche Ogah had gone to the Federal High Court to challenge the qualification of Ikpeazu to contest the primaries given that he did not only fail to pay his taxes as and when due, but falsified tax clearance certificates and receipts to mislead the electoral body and the party.
