Sports Isaac Success to prove he's fit to lead Flying Eagles attack- Nduka Ugbade

Flying Eagles assistant coach, Nduka Ugbade has revealed that injury may keep the Granada of Spain forward, Isaac Success from making the FIFA U-20 world cup in New Zealand.

Success is one of the strikers selected by Coach Manu Garba last week to be in New Zealand but assistant Nduka Ugbade, has said that the striker will be given a few days of grace to convince team selectors he’s fit enough to participate in the tournament.

” No one can be totally free from a little knock or injury that’s a surety, and we have almost about 2 weeks to go or so. We’ll confirm the current state and subsequently see if he can participate.”

The 2013 U-17 world cup, who scored Nigeria's first goal against Sweden in the UAE has not featured for the team since he was forced out of the game due to injury which gave Taiwo Awoniyi a platform to show himself, a chance he utilised to the fullest. Footballlive
