The 19-year-old daughter of All Progressives Congress, APC, Lagos councillorship candidate of Odi Olowo Local Council Development Area, Mr. Bode Adeosun, has been kidnapped at Ilepeju area.
Vanguard gathered that the victim, identified simply as Bukola, was kidnapped The incident occurred four days to her 20th birthday.
It was gathered that while Bukola was whisked away in a Black Toyota at a gun point around the area.
Confirming the abduction of his daughter, the politician stated that he was informed about news of Bukola’s abduction by his wife.
He said: “While expecting her return, I received a call at about 1.39a.m.
The caller told me that my daughter was in their custody.
He said I would hear from them again and hung up before I could say anything.
“That was when I knew that my daughter had been abducted. Since then, I have not heard from them. I do not know what my daughter is going through where she is. My fear is for her not to be raped.”
When contacted, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole, said that the victim was reported to have been missing to the Police, adding that investigation had begun
