Kogi State police command yesterday arrested a 26-year-old man, Olaiya Ibeun, for allegedly sending insulting text messages to the state Deputy Governor, Yomi Awoniyi.
The suspect, who was paraded before journalists in Lokoja, was also accused of sending similar messages to the Chairman of Mopa-Muro Local Government area, Mr. funsho Daniyan and the Special Adviser to the state Governor on Political Affairs, Mr. Eric Fiki.
