Mr. Femi Eboda, a retired staff of Union bank has asked an Agege Grade ‘A’ Customary Court in Lagos to dissolve his marriage on grounds of his wife’s thieving behaviour. Mr. and Mrs. Eboda have been married for 21years.
Mr. Eboda,who claims to have been living with stroke, diabetes and ulcer for the past two years, said his wife doesn’t take care of him, instead she steals and causes him public embarrassment and disgrace. Mr Femi also accused his wife of frustrating his efforts to give his children a sound education.
Mrs. Eboda denied the allegations levelled against her and told the court she doesn’t want a divorce.
Mr. Emmanuel Shokunle,court president asked the couple to go back home and see how to settle their differences peacefully. The case was adjourned until August 13.
