Nigeria' former Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has received the 2017 Aspen Institute Madeleine Albright Award
Okonj-Iweala after receiving the award said she was honoured to be a recipient of the award.
At the event she spoke on how technology - from biometrics to drones, to life-saving vaccines supported by Gavi, to geospatial data - is enabling development and development-spurring technology.
Mrs. Iweala will be the fifth person to recieve such honour.
