Nigeria lost their first game to Brazil by a lone goal before playing a goalless draw with England. The team then suffered an embarrassing 3-0 defeat at the hands of Korea DPR.
Only a victory on Saturday would have helped the chances of the Flamingoes but the team was no match for the Asian champions who finished top of the group.
England also joined Korea DPR in the quarter finals after beating Brazil 2-1 on Saturday.
