The whistle-blower who led the EFCC to an apartment filled with hard currencies is yet to be remunerated for his tip.

The government had said his percentage commission would be paid in November but according to reports, he hasn't gotten his money.

New reports say government will pay the person N421m.

“The money for the payment of the Ikoyi whistle-blower is ready and that money is ready for release this week", a source at the Finance Ministry said.

“A directive has already been issued that the money should be released to the whistle-blower and that will be done before the end of the week.”
