Here's a list of the ten major events that happened in Nigeria today as reported on NigerianBulletin:
- President Buhari quashed reports that he's ordered that Ibe Kachikwu be probed for corruption.
- Senators Remi Tinubu and Dino Melaye continued their fight. Tinubu today reported Melaye to Saraki. Some people like reporting people.
- PDP apologized to Nigerians "for everything".
- IMF predicted a gloomier future for Nigeria's economy. It said full recession is imminent. The announcement caused the naira to crash to N293 per dollar.
- A judicial panel indicted an army General and several others for the killing of hundreds of Shiite muslims.
- The missing police vehicles, alleged to have been "taken" by ex IGP Arase were found. Apparently, IGP Idris erred. Click to Read more
- Paul Le Guen said he's not interested in coaching Nigeria's super eagles any more. Good riddance, Amaju Pinnick said.
- Dino Melaye denied reports that he said he'd rather sleep with a "more sexy Aisha Buhari" than Remi Tinubu. You're alone there man.
- A PDP chief, Ahmed Makarfi made a surprise comment about Buhari's anti corruption war. He said the fight isn't politically motivated.
- ASUU threatened to embark on a nationwide strike.
