The minister of information Culture and Tourism Alhaji Lai Mohammed has disowned social media accounts opened on his behalf, described them as fake.
In a statement issued in Lagos on Sunday, the minister urged Nigerians to disregard the news.
The statement was signed by the special adviser to the minister, Segun Adeyemi.
With this development, it shows the Honourable Minister does not have a single social media account at this digital age.
The Minister was reacting to a news being circulated via a parody Twitter account and an old NTA news video that President Muhammadu Buhari is travelling or has travelled to the US is fake.
