Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has kicked against constituency projects normally carried out by member of the National Assembly.
PUNCH reports that speaking in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Monday during the opening of the 8th National Council on Industry, Trade and Investment, Obasanjo called for an end to constituency projects.
The former President said constituency projects by the members of the National Assembly must stop. He further advocated for financial discipline with the necessary political will to implement the various policies and programmes of the government aimed at taking the country out of recession.
